LRUW Prescription Drug Discount Card

Patients without prescription drug coverage are eligible for special discounts off thousands of medications, both brand name and generic, at 55,000 pharmacies nationwide. One card provides coverage for an entire family and discounts currently average 35% with some savings on generic drugs being as high as 85%. As of August, 2010, Belknap County residents have saved over $386,750 on prescriptions through the LRUW Prescription Drug Discount card program. An additional $180,287 was saved by Grafton County residents, and over $83,321 was saved in Carroll County.

Using the card is as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Download and fill in the front of the card right on your computer. Click in the top field and enter a unique patient ID number, which can be your initials and last four digits of your phone number. Click on the lower field and enter your name on the card. You may also choose to handwrite your information on the card after you print it. 2. Print your card, cut out along the dotted lines, and keep it in a handy location. 3. Present the card and your prescription at any participating pharmacy, including most national chain stores.

This discount prescription card is made available to you through a partnership between Lakes Region United Way and Pharma Futures, Inc. (PFI).
