Better Together Lakes Region

Happy Holidays from Better Together!
As we celebrate the holidays with our families and friends we wish to thank all who contribute to making our community EXTRAORDINARY!

Better Together continues to bring positive change in many areas of life. With the success of Got Lunch! this past summer and the recent emergence of a Mentoring program at the Laconia Middle School, we look to an even greater year ahead with new teams forming all the time.

Join us at our January 26 meeting and learn more about emerging efforts around Welcome Baby, Homelessness and efforts to create a Volunteer Action Team to address year round opportunities for people, including our youth, to give time and talent to their community.

We hope to see you all at 4:00 PM at the Laconia Middle School Multi-Purpose Room.
As Gandhi so well put it…"Be the change you wish to see!"

Make your New Year's resolution one that builds a healthy community where all have a sense of belonging!

Have you heard the buzz? Community Aspirations are in the air!
For several months a number of your friends and associates have been working on a set of aspirations that citizens of the Lakes Region who live and work in Laconia are asked to adopt. There is a petition drive to gather hundreds of signatures of people who believe practicing common courtesies and respect toward one another will help create a safer, healthier community for us all. Click here for more info.

Better Together is a grassroots effort to rekindle our spirit of neighborhood and community in the Lakes Region. Every individual has a contribution to make, and everyone is welcome to come and express an idea or two that will help improve our community.

New Action Teams are forming all the time.
