Day of Caring

Day of Caring is an annual event that gathers together volunteers from all over central New Hampshire to assist local care-giving agencies and other non-profits. Employees from local businesses and organizations who wish to volunteer their time are matched with care-givers to complete projects that may otherwise not get done.

On September 9th, 2011, over 200 volunteers -the most yet! – all of them our friends and neighbors from local communities and businesses - were out painting, cleaning, landscaping, and doing dozens of other projects to help beautify our community and help out 31 local non-profit organizations. Read the full story here.

Day of Caring volunteers wear white T-shirts that read 'LIVE UNITED', but these people don't just wear the shirt, they live it. Please join us in saying "THANK YOU" for "Living United" by volunteering their time to make our community a better place.
