The Laconia Human Relations Committee is very much in need of adult winter wear for refugees. For men: small and medium size sweaters and gloves, and size 9 to 10 boots. Preston Center accepting donations
The Preston Center, serving children in need in the Tilton, Northfield and Sanbornton areas, is open in the lower level of the Pines Community Center in Northfield. The center will be open the first and third Wednesday every month and accepts donations from 3-6pm. They're currently seeking new and gently used infant and children's clothes, toys, shoes, backpacks, diaper bags and blankets for children ages newborn through 12. Winter clothing, gloves, hats and mittens are especially needed at this time. All donations are tax deductible and stay local. 286-8653 for more information.


We are looking for a second hand Pride Lift Chair (extra wide) for a gentleman who is approximately 6 ft tall and 300 lbs and cannot get up safely out of his current lounge chair and does not have the financial capacity to purchase a new chair. We will attempt to obtain some financial resources for him if someone has a chair out there that they wish to "Pay Forward" for a small cost. Please call Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 8-4:30.

New Beginnings has a conference table, approximately 12' long by 4' wide, with few chairs looking to donate to anyone interested. It is disassembled into two pieces, the tabletop then the stand. If anyone is interested call 528-6511.

The Kingswood Youth Center in Wolfeboro has a 48" TV available to anyone who wants it.  It is in good condition.  Recipient would need to pick it up. For more information, contact the Kingswood Youth Center between 9 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Thursday at 603-569-5949. 


We have two 'new' Samsung Toner cartridges # ML2250D5 (cost $100 each) but no longer have the printer they go to. We are looking for a non-profit organization to donate them to. Contact Judy Downing, Laconia Housing Authority 603-524-2112 ext. 17


I have cleaned out my supply closet at work and we have a stash of printer inks and toners that don't go to any of our current machines. They are all brand new, sealed ink and toner. A home is being renovated and furnishings and supplies donated to get a family with substantial disabilities back on their feet. Almost every agency that you can imaging is putting their shoulder into this project. The family needs a refrigerator. I would be happy to travel and use my truck to pick up if needed.
